Ideasgrab review

February is almost upon us and that means spring is just around the corner. The trees start to blossom, the weather gets a little warmer (we hope) and everything starts anew. Freshness is something we all need, to keep us on our toes, to keep us moving - and if you’re feeling a little thin on ideas for your socials/business, then maybe Ideasgrab is for you! Since 2017, Ideasgrab has regularly updated their website to include fresh and varied approaches for creators, developers and managers, stopping stagnation in its tracks.

This service is the natural progression from the mind of David Delahunty, the writer of How To Become An Idea Machine, which if you work in an ideas-driven business, is definitely worth the read! Ideasgrab requires no login to access, simply go to the webpage and browse the extensive list of ideas, updated daily. At the time of writing, there are a whopping 3,440 total ideas available and they’re incredibly varied. Ranging from “An app that automatically links to your Spotify playlists when you’re put on hold by customer service”, to “A zoom feature that if the same person has been talking for too long, The Oscars ‘Wrap it up music’ plays”. All creators need to get their inspiration from somewhere, so why not here?

As far as features go, this service is limited - but basically everything you need is on the homepage. There is however a language selection window, a page on ‘How to Come Up With Great Ideas’, and if you want a more personal touch from David, you can subscribe to ‘Exclusive Ideas’ where you receive five ideas each day, straight to your inbox! Although my professional need for this service isn’t urgent right now, it’s definitely something I will be revisiting - as inspiration is all you need to begin a truly big idea.

I feel any more words on this tool would be over-egging the pudding, it’s a great service and a truly ingenious way for David to flex his idea-crunching brain. If you want to source inspiration for virtually anything, check out the website, at the very least it might make you consider a new way of thinking!

Ideasgrab, you get 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼/5!
