Good day to you all, and welcome back to ‘Tool review of the week’, starring, Glorify! This new and intriguing app has been designed to increase your E-commerce and help showcase your products in an online environment fit for 2020 and beyond. This review follows on nicely from the previous issue’s review of Editor X - a web-design tool to fit your brand. This week’s review covers a tool built for your products, and it’s incredibly diverse. Design a strong aesthetic for your online shop and style your products how they deserve to be. Online shopping is a minefield of competition, standing out in a place where everyone and their nan has an Etsy account is tough (I’m not bashing Etsy, half my Christmas shopping came from there). So give yourself a shot in the arm and try out the bespoke-chic services of Glorify.

First things first, it’s very much a ‘speculate to accumulate’ kind of tool… The annual packages set you back £900 for the Solo plan, £2000 for the Pro plan, and £5,500 for the Enterprise plan (Image below provides further plan details). Although there is currently a ‘Cyber Week’ deal of 93% off, so if you’re currently after something like this, do not hang about! I do have some reservations about this massive discount... kind of makes me question the ‘real’ value of the product? Also, you can spend less elsewhere, for more simple, template-based designs such as £15 a month with Network Solutions, but Glorify benefits from its customisable, easy-to-use nature, its vibrant, attractive and intuitive interface, and you do get many more features for the money - which for me maybe just about makes it worth it. Similar again to last week, I have no personal need for this tool at this moment in time, however, it is good to see what options are out there. I can definitely feel there is a pull by this tool, just go to their website to see for yourself, you’re greeted by an embedded video showcasing Glorify at its finest. It certainly will draw in those who need some design-based improvements to the marketing of their products.

Signing up for the service admittedly was more of a faff than I’d anticipated, after adding an email address to your account there are then some un-skippable additional windows you must navigate through to determine what services Glorify would best provide for you, the options in these windows are fairly faded out and are difficult to decipher, so I wouldn’t be surprised if a few people at this stage thought something had crashed. Thankfully, once you’re past that minor ordeal, it is exceptionally smooth sailing with some very nice views! Like many users for this site, you will have some preconception of what you want your products to appear as on your website, i.e. colour scheme, size, shape, animated etc. Well Glorify has you covered, select an initial template that you feel best fits your brand and from there you can make wholesale changes, whether you want to add your own images or choose from their extensive range. Effectively, you become your own graphic designer, you can texture your designs, add icons, annotate, insert branding, effects and even access their stock-photo catalogue! And the best part is, it is so simple to use, a three-month old monkey would figure it out! Noice.

There is certainly a lot more playing I could do for this tool, and maybe someday I’ll be using it for professional services. Compared to Network Solutions, there is certainly a step up in price, but also in terms of visuals and features. A highly stimulating and pleasing tool that will help you stand out in the online shopping arena - and a pretty feisty arena it is! Glorify certainly comes at a price, but if you start selling at the rates you’re aiming for, I have no doubt Glorify would be a worthy investment in the long run.
